It is undisputed that the Thambuththegama Special Economic Center is the driving force behind the success of the Rajarata Agrarian Economy. That is why in a short period of time this has become one of the most renowned economic centers on the island. Only farmers in faraway villages know the consolation of having a center to sell their labour-intensive produce. It was this economic center that provided the perfect solution to the problems that appeared in transporting its products to various places outside the district. Therefore, it obviously becomes the pilot to lighten the extra weight that they had to bear for their harvest.
Not only Rajarata farmers but also other parts of the country are actively involved in a prosperous economic process full of vegetables and fruits in this center. As well as this center is a very useful trading center for traders as well as farmers. We already see its high success even before it reaches its maturity stage. There are many signs that this economic hub will become more and more popular over time and its good management on the inside is a powerful contributor for this situation. Therefore, I am confident that the Thambuththegama Dedicated Economic Center will reach an important place in the future, even internationally.
