The Thambuththegama Dedicated Economic Center, which was established targeting agricultural production areas, is performing as a very active economic center. I believe that this center has been able to convert the sweat of the farmers of Rajarata in particular into harvests and bring them to this center and get a fair price for their crops with the intervention of minimal intermediaries. I hope this will enable us to transform the Thambuththegama Dedicated Economic Center into a digitalized economic hub using the latest technology and I hope that farmers, traders and consumers will be able to fulfil their needs without any hassle. Accordingly, I hope that this program will help the Government in its efforts to create a prosperous country.
